Do we matter?

I wonder…is there a correlation between what we do and what God does?

We are only God’s servants through whom you believed the Good News. Each of us did the work the Lord gave us. I planted the seed in your hearts, and Apollos watered it, but it was God who made it grow. It is not important who does the planting, or who does the watering. What’s important is that God makes the seed grow.

                                                                1 Corinthians 3:5-7

Thanks to your support, The Flow Foundation provided funding for over 50 mission workers in 2023. Each month during 2023, these resolute and devoted mission partners…

·       prayed for people who do not know Jesus.

·       pursued every opportunity to tell people about the life that Jesus offers.

·       invited people to learn about Jesus and worship with them.

·       observed God form new groups, sustain current groups and churches and

·       rejoiced that His grace brought people to surrender to Jesus

Our mission workers answered these questions, and here are the results:

How many hours did you spend in prayer for the lost?

6,649.5

How many people did you invite to a Bible Study and/or worship?

3,9325

How many times did you share the gospel story or your story of salvation?

6,779

God blessed their disciple making behaviors, and here is what HE did:

How many new groups /churches formed?

165

What is the total number of groups that are meeting?

2,259

How many spiritual conversations (baptisms) have occurred?

669

PRAISE GOD! Isn’t He incredible? There were thousands of hours in prayer, tens of thousands of invitations to study and worship, and thousands of Jesus stories shared. The missionaries provided the environment for God to perform his life-changing work by starting new groups, sustaining churches under persecution, and bringing people to Him in salvation.

Our mission partners witnessed God’s power, grace and growth take place in Croatia, Israel, England, Greece, North Macedonia, Kenya, Israel, India, Poland, Brazil, Philippines, Bronx, New York, Lithuania, Albania, Latvia, Viet Nam, Romania, Ukraine, and South Korea. It is amazing what God can do when Christians simply pray, invite, and tell the salvation story of Jesus.

This Valentine’s Week our American culture focuses on love. Let me share three thoughts about love:

  • Show your love for people who do not know Jesus through prayer and intentional interactions that invite them to learn about Jesus and hear His story of grace, love, and forgiveness.

  • For the next ten months, join us in prayer for people to come to know Jesus, invite them to join you in study and worship, and tell them your salvation story, and how Jesus can save them. Keep track of your efforts, and you will be blessed! You may feel doubtful that God can use you, but ask yourself, “Why not?” Our God can turn our meager efforts into a Jesus movement!

  • Show your love by giving gifts to others.

This Valentine’s week consider giving an eternal gift rather than candy that is consumed and flowers that fade. Give people the gift of your prayers and your engagement in their lives and stand back and be amazed by what He does!

Give a donation to The Flow Foundation so that others can experience the greatest love of all: the love of Jesus who is “the Way, the Truth and the Life,” for people of every culture and nation. https://www.flowlivingwater.org/give
